I don’t know how many of you caught The Super Bowl, but if you did you may have noticed a commercial for GoDaddy that featured me and, to a lesser extent, my Internet celebrity proteges Kevin Rose and Andy Albrecht (from the up and coming podcast Diggnation). You’d think, being in showbiz for as long as I have, reaching the summit that I’ve reached, you’d get used to this kind of attention and fanfare, but I must say…it was quite a thrill being part of the biggest cultural spectacle of the year. Yes, it’s a pretty special feeling. Of course, I didn’t want to be all front and center like that, but GoDaddy insisted. They said they consider me an Internet icon. Well, I don’t know about that…I’m just a man. A man who was proud to be a part of this great American day.
